Connects event organizers with participants
Provides tools for organizers to manage their events and refund policies
Assists with communication when refund disputes arise
The event organizer is the merchant of record for all transactions and is solely responsible for refund decisions.
2. Refund Responsibility
All refund decisions are made by the event organizer based on their published refund policy. Common scenarios where organizers may offer refunds include:
Event cancellation by the organizer
Event postponement without acceptable alternative dates
Significant changes to event details (location, time, format)
Participant cancellation within the organizer's specified timeframe
Each organizer sets their own refund terms, which you can review on the event page before registering.
3. How to Request a Refund
Step 1: Contact the Event Organizer
Contact the event organizer directly through their event page or provided contact information
Include your registration details and reason for refund request
Reference their specific refund policy terms
Allow reasonable time for the organizer to respond (typically 2-3 business days)
Step 2: Platform Facilitation (If Needed)
If you cannot reach the organizer or need assistance with communication:

Include your registration confirmation number and evidence of attempted contact with the organizer
We will attempt to facilitate communication between you and the organizer
Final refund decisions remain with the event organizer
4. Event Organizer Refund Policies
Event organizers have full discretion to set their refund policies, which may include:
Specific cancellation deadlines (e.g., 48 hours before event)
Partial refunds for late cancellations
No-refund policies for certain types of events
Transfer policies allowing registration changes to other participants
Credit or voucher systems for future events
Always review the specific refund policy for each event before completing your registration.
5. Platform Technical Issues
If technical problems with the AlpacaShoPro platform prevent you from:
Completing your registration
Accessing event materials or virtual event links
Participating in the event due to platform issues
Contact our support team immediately. We will work with the event organizer to resolve the issue or facilitate an appropriate resolution, which may include a refund at the organizer's discretion.
6. Processing Fees
When refunds are processed by event organizers:
Payment processing fees may not be refundable
The refund amount and any applicable fees are at the organizer's discretion
Fee information is displayed during the registration process
7. Special Circumstances
Force Majeure Events
In cases of events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, government restrictions, health emergencies), AlpacaShoPro encourages organizers to work with participants on fair solutions, which may include:
Event rescheduling with honor of original registrations
Full or partial refunds as determined by the organizer
Event credits for future use
Organizer Non-Response
If an event organizer becomes unresponsive:
Contact AlpacaShoPro support with documentation of your attempts to reach the organizer
We will make reasonable efforts to contact the organizer on your behalf
In extreme cases, we may provide assistance in escalating the matter
8. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with an organizer's refund decision:
First, attempt to resolve the matter directly with the event organizer
If unsuccessful, contact AlpacaShoPro support for communication facilitation
We will review the case and organizer's policy within 2-3 business days
Our role is limited to facilitating communication and ensuring policy compliance
Final refund decisions remain with the event organizer
